Care Ministry

Living out Christ’s compassion, one felt need at a time.

Grace Bible Church is committed to caring for those in our community. If we can help, we will, through a network of volunteer professionals and big-hearted believers. That’s the church.

The Bible repeatedly describes Jesus as being moved to compassion for those in need. Christ clearly provided comfort for them, be it emotional, physical, or spiritual. At Grace Bible Church, we model our ministries after Jesus, and we aspire to meet the varying felt needs of those in our community. If we can pray for you, provide a vital good or service, or just be there, let us know.

  • Do you need prayer?
If so, you’ve come to the right place. Our church is willing and eager to pray for you! If you’d like to request prayer, please submit a prayer request at prayer@gracebibleag.com.
  • Do you need a visit?
Would you like a visit or do you know of someone who would appreciate a personal visit? If so, please contact Pastor Bruce at 805-489-4200 or bneff@gracebibleag.com
  • Do you have a seasonal need?
Things in life crop up. Whether it’s emergency financial assistance, meals or groceries, transportation, a gas card, medical equipment loans, handyman tasks, a bereavement reception, flower arrangements for a friend, encouragement, or a visit, Grace Bible Church Deacons Board might be able to help. For more information or to submit a benevolence request, call Pastor Bruce at 805-489-4200.

There are also many ways to get involved serving the needs of our community. If you have a question regarding any of the following ministry opportunities, please contact Pastor Bruce at 805-489-4200.

  • Transitional Care Ministry
Home visitation is a simple way for ordinary people to minister to ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances. Sign up to make a home visit once or twice a month.
  • Flower Delivery Team
Once a month, you can help break down the Sunday bouquet into smaller centerpieces, to be delivered to those in need of extra encouragement.
