Children’s choir: let’s make a joyful noise!
We’re honored and excited to be part of your child’s life as they learn to express their love for God through music. That’s the primary purpose of our Children’s Choir: to give kids a place to worship. The Choir is also a fun way for them to learn age-appropriate vocal technique, music theory, choreography, drama, and dance. Through it all, we do the following:
- train children in their abilities to make melody in their hearts unto the Lord
- prepare and perform a scripted musical with choreography, sets, and costumes
- minister to the church body through participation in services and special programs
- learn biblical truth through Christian songs and lessons
Fall Semester of Children's Choir
Led by Beth Klemm (the Director of the GBC adult choir)
The Grace Kids Choir (for kids in 2nd through 6th grade) started their fall semester October 23rd and are preparing for Christmas Concerts which will be held on December 16th (with full orchestra). The kids will also have the opportunity to sing during church services in November and December, giving them experience in leading worship and sharing their gifts with our congregation.
